Starting from the Paseo de la Catedral in Guadix, continuing along Calle San Miguel and through one of the adjacent streets (Arco Mensafíes or Real de Santo Domingo), we arrive at this first viewpoint located on Cerro de la Magdalena – an area of Mozarabic caves. This panoramic viewpoint offers different perspectives: the historical and monumental complex defined by the Alcazaba and Cathedral, the northern area of caves in the Barrio de la Estación neighborhood of Guadix, and the fertile plain. Inside the hill, inhabited caves reveal their chimneys at the viewpoint, reminding us that life continues within their depths.

An ideal spot to see monumental Guadix and part of the Caves.
