The city signs will guide you through this labyrinthine neighborhood to a wide, wooded area from which you can ascend on foot to the Mirador de la Bala viewpoint. From this splendid rooftop, you can contemplate, once again but from a new perspective, this unique human and landscape enclave that is old Guadix, with caves surrounding you completely and, to the north, the imposing mass of the Alcazaba, the bell towers and spires of churches and palaces, the cathedral behind it, and in the distance, the groves of the fertile plain silhouetted against clay cliffs. A climb of stairs and a ramp leads to the viewpoint.
